Welcome to Vera Vita Ministries.
We exist to serve and facilitate the ministry of those who are called by God to help fulfill the Great Commission.
Vera Vita Ministries exists, as an organization, to facilitate the ministry of those whom God has called to ministry, primarily in Italy. VVM seeks to provide the oversight, legal structure, counsel and guidance to facilitate those who have been recognized by their churches as having a call to God to help carry out the Great Commission.
The main aspects of the work of those whom Vera Vita Ministries serves are:
Proclaiming: this is the work of announcing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only means of salvation in existence. This is done both locally, and through Internet to many throughout Italy and beyond.
Church Planting: in the New Testament, the local church is the center of God's plan, and so our missionaries are involved in planting churches which are biblically grounded, with a balance of solid expository preaching and passionate living for Christ, in a walk of holiness.
Edifying: as churches are planted, that first generation of believers needs to grounded, both in doctrine and in what it means to live the Christian life. There is a focus on the local church, but also much ministry throughout Italy - and Europe - through the Internet, email, telephone calls and a very active ministry of discipling people who come to live with us for a season.
Training: every new church needs godly men who are equipped for ministry. A key part of the ministry is to prepare these men, both personally and in ministry skills. This includes local believers, and assisting believers at a distance.
